Former Vice-President of Kent Student Union Caz Brooker has joined the Campus Media UK team to coordinate all student activities and further her career in copywriting.

Campus Media UK is delighted to welcome Caz on board, as both a Kent graduate and budding writer.

“As a young business enterprise, founded by a mix of creative students and industry experts, entrepreneurial and talented graduates like Caz are a perfect fit for our activities.”

www.KentUni.com hosts its first trip of the term to the city that never sleeps. Set to be a sell-out, we’ll be taking coach loads of students to Amsterdam to experience the unique culture, attitude, and strange kind of beauty it holds. Including the cobbled side streets and canals that give way to galleries and museums to a top club night and the ultimate bar crawl, Amsterdam is a regular trip on the calendar – and one not to be missed…It will be the biggest trip of the year and sold out in 2007 in no time, leaving plenty of people disappointed. Tickets on sale soon!

Phat Pilgrim and Gradvine are teaming up every Monday to bring the hottest electronica DJs in the south east to the University of Kent. Starring alongside Phat Pilgrim artists will be underground and alternative House, Tech, Minimal and Breaks through to D&B and Trance. Student nights will NEVER be the same again.

Multiverse, UKC, Canterbury – £2

The first edition of Gradvine, our full colour monthly magazine, is now available on campus.  For students moving into halls of residence, a copy will be in their room on arrival as well as in dispensers across campus and in selected outlets.  There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with Gradvine: Email Editor Jason Stephens at jason@campusmediauk.com or getinvolved@campusmediauk.com for more info. You can also go to www.KentUni.com, register with our Facebook application and get all the latest news straight to your laptop.

As well as putting on a beach party event with the biggest line-up to hit Kent, Gradvine Live presents the first-ever CASA on Saturday 27 September. It’s a free all dayer, from 2pm – 1am, and kicks off in style with live DJs and percussion. Held in Dolche Vita at Keynes College at the University of Kent, with Kent Rock Society next door in KBar throwing an alternative Fresher’s Ball, CASA will be on every Saturday night throughout term time.
